About this course

Program management is the process of managing several related projects, often with the intention of improving an organisation’s performance.

Our Advanced Diploma of Program Management is designed to teach you modern and practical program management skills that can be applied in the workplace of today. Outlining objectives, planning execution, managing operations and reporting on status are just a few of the functions involved in carrying out a successful program.

Covering a range of subjects, this course will provide you with the skills to deliver the organisations strategy or business transformation.

What you will learn

What you will need

Through this course, you will need to have:

Access to a computer or tablet to use in class and at home

Access to a fast Internet connection

A Unique Student Identifier (USI)*

*What is a USI?

Entry requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 11
  • Have successfully completed the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management qualification (or a superseded equivalent)

    or

    Have completed two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise.

  • Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old) or able to demonstrate competence through documented evidence of the following:
    • Educated for 5 years in an English speaking country; or
    • Completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or
    • Successful completion of an English Placement Test through our partner college, Universal English College (UEC)
  • Access to a laptop or tablet for home and classroom use with Microsoft Office software or equivalent

*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL may be accepted.

Course delivery and assessments

A blended course which combines face to face and online learning and delivery.

At UEC Business, we teach you through a variety of ways, including lectures, workshops, individual feedback sessions and study support groups.

We also use case studies, presentations, reports, group tasks, direct observation, practical projects and more to assess your progress.

Course credit

Have you completed any courses that are the same as the units offered by UEC Business? Then you may be eligible for Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

RPL accounts for the skills and knowledge you have gained through work and life experiences, while CT recognises formal training you have already completed – and is only available for Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) awards.

You must apply during the application process and prior to commencement of study, otherwise your application will not be considered. Please get in touch to find out more.

Certification

Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with the AQF qualification (Australian Qualifications Framework) BSB60720 Advanced Diploma of Program Management.

Students who partially complete this course (a minimum of one unit of competency) will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from BSB60720 Advanced Diploma of Program management qualification for the unit/s of competency successfully completed.

Further Study
